Meet the founders
Born in Rome in 1973, he graduated from La Sapienza University in Political Sciences. His twenty-year career in investment banks saw him cover roles as DCM Chief Dealer at Danske Bank in Copenhagen, Sales Director at Mitsubishi UFJ International in London, and Private Banker at Credit Suisse in Milan. He has been a Managing Director at Bardi Co., a broker-dealer, RIA, and FINRA/SIPC member based in Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale, where he manages the private markets and asset management businesses. He is the IR Advisor at the Milan and New York-listed Trawell Co. a leading airport retail service company, and Sostravel.com, a travel tech company. He contributes regularly to traditional finance and venture capital publications, and he’s an alumnus of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, U.K., where he graduated with an MBA and an MSc in Renewable Energy.
Rudolph Gentile, born in Rome in 1972, holds a degree in social sciences from La Sapienza University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sostravel.com. In 1996, Rudolph Gentile came to work in the baggage protection area, and in 1997 he founded Safe Bag S.p.A., now Trawell Co., where he is Chairman and CEO. In 2004, he founded Moviemax Ltd., a cinema production and distribution company, listed on the stock market, of which he was CEO, and following that, President, until 2010. In 2010, after having stepped down from his activities with Moviemax Ltd., he founded M2 Pictures Ltd., another cinema production and distribution company. From 2010 to 2012, he was on the board of directors for the Air Italy Ltd. airline.
